The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Finance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Analyst for Medical/Surgical (MedSurg) USAC specifically focused on growth and spending forecasts Partner with key business stakeholders and proactively provide value-added analysis/financial support Regular interaction with key business stakeholders to understand the MSD business model, current market dynamics and operations to make recommendations to achieve established actions plans, drive efficient growth and change Completion of detailed monthly revenue reporting/reconciliations Preparing accurate financial analysis focusing on Sales performance to plan and articulating results to MedSurg Leadership Team on a regular basis Support of weekly USAC sales estimate process Working closely with Sales Operations, Controllers and Sales Analytics organizations both during close and throughout the month in order to translate data into insights and actions Ensuring that success is achieved through the utmost ethical and legal means Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, economics, engineering, finance, accounting, or other business and/or finance discipline (completed and verified prior to start) AND Seven (7) years of finance experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Strong financial acumen – ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms Solid understanding of multiple workstreams and how they come together Solid business knowledge and acumen as well as strategic thinking mindset Creative problem solving – ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues Knowledge and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/JDE) or other database system used in collecting data for analytics.
